Flat plate panel solar collector is one of the most common solar collectors for use in solar water heating systems in homes and in commercial solar heating project. A flat plate panel solar collector consists basically of an insulated metal box with a glass cover and a black chromed or blue film absorber plate. Solar radiation is absorbed by the absorber plate and transferred to a fluid(the fluid we usually use water) that circulates through the collector in tubes.
